• History of The Company

PT Perkebunan Nusantara XIII (Persero) Abbreviated to PTPNI3 was formed by the merger of eight PTPs pilot project in Kalimantan in 1996 namely, PTP VI, VII, XII, XIII, XVIII, XXIV-V, XXVI, and XXIX respectively. PTPNI3 was established based The Government Regulated NO.18 year 1996 dated February 14, 1996 Notarial Deed No.46 dated March 11, 1996 of Harun Kamil, SH. The company’s article of association was approved by Minister of Justice of Republik of Indonesia in its Decree No. C2-8341.HT.01.01.TH.96 dated August 18, 1996 and published in the State Gazette No. 81.

At the beginning PTPN13 used the liaison office where PTP 7 used before. During building renovation, Head quarter move to the office of PT Pos Indonesia for 1996-1998. The head quarter on JL. sultan Abdurrachman No. 11, Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat since 1998 up to now.

The company’s article of association was amended by Notarial Deed No. 5 dated October 7, 2002 of Sri Rahayu H. Prasetyo, SH., concerning capital exchange and was approved by Minister of Justice and Human Rights of Republik Indonesia in its Decree No.C-20948.HT.01.04.TH.2002.

• Business Sector

PTPN13, is a State-Owned Company which operates in the Agricultural Business sector. The main commodities processed by PTPN13 are oil palm and rubber. The development of the palm commodity is both horizontal and vertical. The horizontal development is done through extending the main and the plasma areas of the plantation. On the other hand, the vertical development aims at building the downstream industry consisting of Fractination, Refinery, Oleo Chemicals, Biodiesel, and residue process based industries.

Vision and Mission

Vision : To build up PTPN13 as a knowledge-based agribusiness company that meets the world class standard.

A brief explanation of the vision are as follows :

a. PTPN13 is an agrobisnis company with the commodity of palm oil and rubber.

b.The meaning of knowledge company is that employess are able to collect and analyse data to use them as valuable information for decision making.

c.The company said to be the word class is by means of the score of Baldrige assessment of the company reaches 600.

Mission : To produce agro-based products and services in the field of oil palm, rubber and their derivatives, which are more competitive in the global market and benefits people and the environment.

A brief explanation of the mission are as follows :

a. Product and its derivative of palm oil consists of CPO, kernel, cooking oil, stearin whereas the product of rubber is SIR-20 and RSS.

b. The service means providing Hospital, etc.
